I must have been a free kid: I wore plastic sandals during all my childhood in Ivory Coast. Maybe I’m still free: in Summer I use to go barefoot at home and in my garden. I agree with you: feet give freedom. By feet you can go everywhere and the baby standing up has won his independence. (Enjoy the wake of the little girl.)
