Cardboardpaper factory "De Toekomst" revisited

In 2004 I (illegally) visited this old abandonned cardboardpaper factory for the first time.
It was being cleaned for asbestos at that time....
Today my friend Philip and I went back, to take a look at the old place...
Still fenced off, the place is...Not much change inside the iron barriers either, execpt the weeds between the old machines and warehouses...
They have grown considerately...

Abandoned places are always interesting to visit, you never know what to expect. Lovely series!

Nice pictures. I recently made a photoreport. See http://photo.deepocean.net. Funny to see that we both made a picture of the curl of the spiral stair. Just a very small detail in a very large factory, but we found it ;-)

This is a superb set of a lost industrial world. Fine textures, fine volumes and shapes. I makes one wish to stroll there for a while.
